What is it like to compete against Slack?

Answer by Raj Nadar:

At Teamchat, we don't necessarily compete with Slack. We primarily solve a different problem or should I say open new possibilities, viz:

1) We solve the clutter problem from

a) lot of people
b) lot of updates on a 'thing' (from people, software or machines)

2) We are able to achieve 1 above because we have patent pending 'smart messages' vs updates/ messages, so you may

a) capture sophisticated data sets and have them interact with another smart message (chatlet: When Messaging Gets Smarter) or with other inhouse systems (ERP/ CRM/ connected things)
b) so instead of just seeing everything as it happens on a single window, you could do a lot more, start, participate in or finish a workflow, for example

So if you have small teams, less updates, less noise from systems, Slack will do better for you. If you have more, Teamchat will do better for you.

If you had Teamchat, you do not need Slack though
